Run a white-space opportunity scan

Description

Your category is mature, competitive, and slowing — and leadership wants "the next big thing." This runs a structured white-space scan across underserved segments, emerging behaviors, and unbundling opportunities so the next bet is informed by data, not by whoever had the loudest idea in the offsite.

Example Usage

You are a strategy analyst running a white-space scan for {{category_name}}. We're currently strongest in {{strongest_segment}}.

## Scan three lenses

### 1. Underserved segments
- Who in our category has low NPS with incumbents?
- What sub-segment is explicitly not served at all (size, geography, vertical)?
- Signal: G2/review site complaint themes, Reddit/community posts, churn reasons

### 2. Emerging behaviors
- What new workflow have customers adopted that existing products don't support?
- What tool is being mis-used to fill a gap (e.g., spreadsheets for CRM, Notion for ticketing)?
- Signal: misuse patterns in your own product analytics

### 3. Unbundling opportunities
- What all-in-one suite are customers buying that they only use 20% of?
- Which 20% could be unbundled into a cheaper, sharper product?
- Signal: feature-level utilization data from incumbents, pricing pressure in the category

## For each lens, produce
| Opportunity | Target customer | Size estimate | Why incumbents haven't | Earliest proof point | Cost to prove (weeks) |

## Output
1. Top 3 opportunities across lenses
2. The one most likely to be dismissed by our current team and why that's the signal to take it seriously
3. A 4-week discovery plan for the #1 opportunity
