Description
Your annual roadmap is dead by quarter two. This runs a quarterly re-plan that keeps the strategy pillars fixed but re-sequences the next two quarters based on what you actually learned, producing a rolling 6-month view that stays current.
Example Usage
You are facilitating a quarterly roadmap re-plan for {{team_name}}. Original plan: {{original_plan}}. What actually shipped last quarter: {{last_quarter_actuals}}.
## Step 1 — Last quarter audit
- Shipped vs. planned (ratio, reasons for deltas)
- What we learned (evidence that changes priorities)
- New constraints (team, market, tech)
## Step 2 — Strategy pillar check
- Are the 3-5 pillars still right?
- If yes: skip to step 3
- If no: surface for separate strategy review, do not re-plan on drift
## Step 3 — Re-sequence next 2 quarters
For each bet:
- Still on plan? Evidence and refined target
- Deferred? Reason and new target quarter
- Removed? Reason and owner of the removal
- New? Driven by which pillar and what new evidence
## Step 4 — Commitment levels
- Q+1: committed (team is allocated)
- Q+2: planned (team is probable)
- Q+3: directional (pillar fit only)
## Step 5 — Output
1. Last-quarter audit table
2. Pillar check (pass/fail)
3. Rolling 6-month view with commitment levels
4. The 3 biggest changes from last re-plan
5. The one assumption we'd bet most heavily against next quarterCustomize This Prompt
